Remington 700 hands down!! What are most of the custom guns out there made of? Remington 700's of course. My dad has over 14 remy 700 custom guns and ALL of them are tack driving killing machines. Farthest shot so far was 1100 yd coyote with 300 win mag. Man was that a mess.

I'd take the Tikka, no doubt about it.

They have the best value for the money of those listed, and their accuracy guarantee (5-shot 1" group) just sweetens the deal. I'd love to pick up a Tikka T3 in 25-06.

The only bolt action hunting rifle I have ever been disappointed with was my Ruger M77 MkII .30-06. I finally dumped it last month. It was a beautiful rifle with many fine features, but after trigger work, bedding and countless handloads it would not group consistently.
My experience exactly with Rugers. Beautiful gun, solidly built but shoots all over the place.

Get the Tikka and you will never regret it. Slickest bolt action out there, free floated barrel, detachable clip, great trigger that can be adjusted down to 2lbs in minutes with a screwdriver, comes with it's own rings, and man do they shoot. I have found 3 different factory loads that my Tikka will consistently group less than 1 inch with at 100 yards.

I used to think the tikkas, but it seems that they have had a rash of catostrophic failures and are being very hush hush about it. Take a look at some of the pictures and read some of the posts before you decide.

remember that sako, tikka, beretta haven't posted anything anywhere that I have seen (why not sako?) so this is all kind of one sided.

Instead of a .270 and a .223... Why not split the difference...

Sako 75 Hunter in .243!

Don't you wonder why people keep talking about the Sakos?!?! I have yet to hear of one bad Sako (other than this whole finnlight thing).

The most accurate gun out of the box - guaranteed,
The smoothest bolt.
A great looking gun to boot!

The tikka is definentily the best gun
I own a T3 Lite in 30-06, and gravity closes the bolt.
I can hit a quater at 150 yards
