Thanks for the input guys.
I'm still shopping.
Have not made up my mind yet.
Mossberg or Remington.
Hunting is nature.
It is our nature to hunt.
I'm not a hunting fanatic just a hunting addict.

I like my Mossberg 500 and 835 Ulti-mag sooo much, that I switched back to my Remington 870's and 11-87. I haven't gone back since. Wanna buy my mossbergs? I'll sell them to you really cheap!

I hated mine. Sold it at a pawn shop after having it six months. It rattled, would not fire half the time. I thought I just got a lemon, but reading some of the other posts on here sounds like I got the normal product. To each his own though!! If it was me I'd buy a remington or winchester. You might even want to check out a Charles Daily, I have never owned one but heard good things about them.

I've hear good and bad stuff about any shotgun purchased. Whether it be remington, winchester, browning, benelli or mossberg. As far as rattles go, most folks I talk to like the benelli Nova. Ever pick one up a shake it. It rattles, noisier than a Mossberg. But boy do they shoot. I've been lucky with the guns I've bought. They have all functioned well. While others have had trouble with the exact same guns.
Now if your talking appliances or electronics, I'm the unluckiest man alive. I always get the lemons even when buying topend products.
Life goes on.

Ok, I have owned both a Remington and a Mossberg, The mossberg was junk, I always had it jamming and falling a part, literally, and my friend has one, and the stock is always falling off. And I have never had one problem with my Remington, but my stepdad jammed my remington up shooting 3 1/2's, because he has a shorter pull than me...so i would go with a remington...just my 2 cents

Don't bother with the mossberg get the remington. The 870 is the standard model pump shotgun that will never be surpassed by any other manufacturer. The best thing about it you can use it for absolutly anything you can hunt.
Wait, wait, ready PLUG EM!!!!!
