What do you think of Mossberg shotguns
#35
I've used Rem 870's all my life, then 3 years ago I bought a Moss 835 ulti-mag. I haven't had any problems with the camo 835. I use both and prefer the 835 over the 870 on birds bigger than quail. I know people say the 3 1/2" shells don't eject out of the Moss. well, but I haven't had any problems. The 835(aka Poor Mans 10 guage) is built cheaper than the 870, but I'd still buy the cheaper gun as long as I don't run into any future problems and am pleased with the gun. I'll just use the money saved on it for hunting equiptment. The 835 cost me $300, and is my favorite shotgun I've used. I know I'm on the minority here, but just my opinion.

I have a Moss 9200 camo and I shoot everything from trap to turkeys with it. Its a little slow in super cold weather though. But it has been a fine shotgun.

had a Mossberg 835, my biggest mistake was getting rid of it. Never had a problem with it and it was nice to be able to chamber
2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2 for the price of that shotgun.
