Default NEF single shot rifles

Looking for a less expensive way to get a rifle. Where I live it's mostly shotguns for hunting but I would like to get a rifle for the occasional coyote hunt but not spend a lot. What do you think of these guns. Also, do they have a website, I can't find it.

It seems like these are pretty decent rifles for the money. I like mine so far, but haven't spent a lot of time with it. Check with MarlinFirearms.com. They should be coming up with something pretty quick. They already have a spot on their message board.

Ken, I've got a little NEF .223 and I like it. It shoots well, and was not expensive at all. I put a 10x weaver on it, and it's all I need to 250.

I have a .243 in the synthetic, superlight model of the NEF HandiRifle. It is a good shooter & well worth the money.

I think I gave around $200 for mine.

My first one was a .243 after that I bought one for my son to start with this year. I then added a.270 Win to the collection of NEF. One shot is all you need right

I have one in .308 and wont let go of it. Very handy and accurate. If you are calling coyotes then you will be loading and unloading alot. This gut works well for this and with the safety (hammer) behind the gun the mutts wont see you pulling the hammer back if looking strait on.
