I'm comparing two scopes and looking for some opinions? I know Leupold's are excellent, I have a couple of them but at almost $250 more, they have priced themselves out of my budget.
The two I'm considering are:
Bushnell Elite 4200 in 2.5x10x40
and
Weaver Grand Slam in 3x10x40
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have them both, the Elite is a quality scope as is the Weaver! I would save the $250 and get the Elite and then you can get another "toy"...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Why would you want to support a company like Bausch & Lomb who took their name off the elite line because they no longer wanted to be associated with hunting?

Tikka 300, I still own a B&L Elite 3000, but I thought the reason they began marketing the line under Bushnell's name was because it was better recognized in hunting. This would give the Elite line more exposure. But you may be right.
