Default 500 Mossbeg 20 Gauge.

Deer Season Starts Saturday....Im Shooting Light Fields and my barrels Smoothbore...I sighted in my gun good for 50 yards...
If i get a rifled barrell, Will i be more acurate?

I HAVE THE MOSSBERG 500 IN 20ga. WITH THE RIFLED/CANTILEVER BARREL, ALSO SHOOTING LIGHTFIELDS, AND I GET GREAT GROUPS OUT TOO 100yds. SO I WOULD SAY " YES" GET THE RIFLED/CANTILEVER BARREL

What size groups did you get at 50 yards??

With a rifled barrel, you should get one ragged hole at 50 yards.

I shoot a 500 12 ga with the factery barrel 24inch and it dose the job good for me but all you can do is give it a try

i have a moss 500 20 gauge but i use it for squirrel hunting. i took it out deer hunting with slugs a few times. at 50 yds u should be able to rip out its chest with a slug
