.22 accuracy
sighted in my ruger 10/22 today. i can completely cover a 10-shot group with a quarter at 25 yards. i can probably get it to shoot tighter than that with a better rest. how good are any of you guys getting your .22 to shoot? i havent tried shooting a group at 50 yards. but what do you think a good 10-shot group would be at about 50 yards? i havent shot a .22 in a while.

RE: .22 accuracy
I have a 10-22 and it shoots pretty good, But I also have a CZ that will out do it pretty bad, I can cover 5 shots with a dime at 40 yards about every time with it. The best I have done is just make one hole about the size of 2-22 holes with 5 shots, I have owned several 22' s and the CZ is the best as far as accuracy is concerned. Funny thing is it will group the winchester powerpoints {which is just kind of a cheap ol 22 shell} better than it will any other brand I' ve tried, including target loads.

Any of my better 22' s, Kimber 82 Government, Anschutz 54, CZ 452V, Winchester 52D' s, will easily keep 5 shots within a dime at 50 yards with their favorite affordable ammo. Match ammo will of course tighten groups up.
