Tikka Continental?
Hello everyone,
Heavy barrel Tikka Continental - Any Opinions? Especially from owners.
Thinking of this instead of the Sporter. Plan to use it at the range and hunting for deer (308 Caliber).

RE: Tikka Continental?
If you have one of these rifles, hold onto it.
I just found out the Canadian Importer (Stoeger) no longer orders these from Tikka. I can' t say if this will effect the USA also. To get a heavy barrel you' ll have to order the Sporter now.

What a pitty you cant order the continental,I have one & think its the most accurate & well balanced rifle i' ve ever used & I think it would have been perfect for your needs, they will have to pry mine from my cold dead hands.
Mine is a 7mm-08 & if I had the money i' de buy one in 223 & another in 9.3x62 for range rifles & occasional hunts.
You would have been very very happy with one.
Good luck with what you get
Alan
