Default Tikka T3 Lite LH .25-06, anybody know how to get one??

Apparently, Beretta does not ship Tikka T3 Lite LH .25-06 to the US anymore. I have tried all the local gun shops andthey all say they cannot get one for me.Does anybody know how I could go about purchasing one??

Try GunBroker or one of the other online sites.

Beretta USA still has the T3 Lite listed on their website as being offered in .25-06. In fact, I would be shocked if they made the (very stupid) decision to stop importing the .25-06 version. The .25-06 is a very popular cartridge in the United States. I'm guessing that the gun dealers told you they couldn't get it because their distributors were currently out of them. That doesn't mean that they have been discontinued by Beretta, just that they are currently out of stock.

I'd also suggest trying Gunbroker.com. I searched their website for "tikka T3 lite .25-06" and got 9 hits for that search string for guns ranging from $510-610 for NIB guns, and one used rifle with a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 scope (not bad glass) for $450 with some defects (most notably the magazine is missing, and Tikka mags are fairly expensive in the $60-70 range I believe). Though I'd be cautious about the used one because it seems that it's being sold by a pawn-broker type business that may not be very knowledgeable about used guns.

Way back, I bought a 700 BDL in LH and had it re barreled to 25-06. Back then before the X bullets and Ballistic tips, i found it to be very inconsistant in it's perfomance. That has been cured now and I wish I had that rifle back. I do have the next best thing, a 700 Classic in 250-3000.

One other thing... If you're not dead set on the Tikka (should you not be able to get ahold of one), literally EVERY other rifle maker chambers ust about every CF rifle model they make in .25-06. You should not have any trouble finding a .25-06 that's to your liking.

I think that the .250-3000 Savage is a great little round, but would actually rather see a .25-08 become a standardized cartridge. My quarter-bore of choice is the 257 Wby Mag. It's a wicked little cartridge. I can't wait to try it out this winter.

Thanks for the responses guys. I talked to a tech guy from Beretta and they don't import Left-handed .25-06 models to the US anymore. They do ship the Right-Handed models, which I might just have to break down and buy. They however still make Left-handed .25-06 but you just can't get them here. I've found a couple of Canadian websites that sell them but won't ship to the US.

Being LH his options are limited to Ruger who chamber 2506rem in southpaw versions of the Ruger Hawkeye.

You could see if your dealer could contacteither acanadian dealer or distrubitors for berretta (in canada)and broker a deal on your behalf, maybe an option??
