Tactical 10/22 help
I am looking for a new project and have decided on a Ruger 10/22 to be my platform rifle.
Does anyone have experience making a "tactical" 10/22? I would enjoy any comments or links to where I can find aftermarket parts to make this an AK/AR styled plinker.
I have found this: http://www.rbprecision.com/id72.htm
But welcome anymore insight
Thanks for the tips!

RE: Tactical 10/22 help
I converted my 10/22 to a 17HM2, I guess you could call it tactical. The only stock piece left is the receiver housing, lol.
http://www.eabco.com/102201.html I used that place for most of my parts and Midway for the rest because they had some closeout sales.
I duracoated it WWII OD Green as well. I plan on rehitting it with some Duracoat again, I want every single piece WWII OD Green, stock and all.
I have a lot of money wrapped up into it but it's worth it, it's the funnest gun to shoot on the planet, IMO.
As far as advice, your first mod should be the power custom hammer and sear kit, yes, even before the barrel or stock, the factory trigger is that horrible.
