6.8 SPC Youth Rifle
Looking to purchase a rifle (preferrably bolt action) for a nephew as a first rifle. I want to get one chambered in 6.8 SPC but the rifles seem to all be built on AR15 type platforms. Any recommendations?

Why not a 243? From what ive heard the 6.8 spc was made as a military round. It is very similar to a 223 cas with a larger bullet in it. I dont know for sure so i could be wrong but i dont think it would be good for much except varmints.
