It is a turkey gun , tight groups at a small target. Thought you needed to know.
Doesn' t matter. Its a shotgun. I think you get the picture that if you still want it done, take it to a smith.

Improving the trigger pull doesn' t have to involve lightening it! It could just consist of smoothing it up and making it " feel" better. I have a Ruger No. 1 .375 H&H on which we finally got the weight of trigger pull down to 3.5 pounds, but it still has a " strange" feel to me. It just doesn' t feel like my other No.1' s, and so far, I haven' t been able to figure out what the problem is! It may be totally imaginary, for that matter!!

elde, You are completely correct. My point is that most (but not all) people do not have the capability to " smooth" the trigger pull and wind up doing damage. I make $ on these people. It would amaze you to really see how many " bozos" have zero mechanical ability.

Basserman, you are absolutely correct. And the worst possible outcome of some " bozo" doing his trigger is the fact that messing up an engaging angle could result in the gun firing when it is not supposed to....

Basserman,
I contacted a local smith. $ 65 for a trigger job.
Seems like quite a difference from your quote.
If I could have it done for $25 I would do it .
Would you be interested ? If so could I send just the trigger group ?
