I haven' t had the chance to play with the new trigger yet, but all my Savages still wear the factory triggers. After I tweaked them they are quite acceptable. None were really that bad to start with. Worst trigger I ever felt was on my Ruger 10/22 but with a few drop in parts it is now fine.

The accu trigger was primarily designed so that anyone could adjust the trigger themselve from 1 1/2 pounds to 6 pounds. It was also made so that it is pretty much impossible for the gun to discharge with out actually pulling the trigger. In order for the gun to fire you have to actually pull the little trigger within a trigger to disengage the sear. This must upset the attorneys cause they won' t have as many cases to try against the gun manufacturers
