H & R ultra slug gun?
I was thinkin about getting an H & R ultra slug gun with the thumbhole. Just seeing what everyone thinks of them. I guess they have incrediable accuracy? I was going to top it off with a Leopold Shotgun 2-7 or a Nikon Buckmasters 3-9? What do you all think

RE: H & R ultra slug gun?
I wouldn't say incredible accuracy, but they shoot pretty good for the money. I have friends with pumps and semi autos that shoot just as well with cantilever barrels and the correct ammo.
The key is finding the ammo your gun likes. The H&R is no different. It is still a fairly slow twist rate slug gun barrel. Albeit a HEAVY one.
Mine was better on recoil then most pump guns though because of the weight.

RE: H & R ultra slug gun?
I would look into getting one again. I just got mine and have shot it a couple times. The accuracy was pretty good. I know the 12 ga. is quite a bit heavier than the 20. I have the 20 ga.
Paul,
Is a 1 in 28" or 1 in 34" twist rate mean that it's a "fairly slow" twist rate. I know the twist in mine that I just bought is a 1 in 28" rate. Thanks in advance.
