I was looking to change things up from the Remington 870 because changing barrels (from bird barrel to slug and vice versa) is a pain in the butt especially with sabots b/c I need to buy sabots for sighting in. Also, my 870 is righty and I'm a lefty shooter. I couldn't find that Remington makes lefty cantilever barrelsorI wouldpurchase a lefty 870 and stay with that set up. Just my luckof being a lefty shooter...my solution is buying a lefty 870 Express for ducks/turkey/rabbits and a ambidextrousbrowning bps in12/20 gauge for deer.

Really either one is a good choice. If u want a lower recoil round then go with the 20 ga. The velocity on both is close to the same, just one might be lighter and less recoil.
