I would have to say the 22-250. Small enough bullet that I can take small game without too much damage, powerful enough to take some larger game with a well placed shot if needed, and flat shooting enough and accurate enough to take birds at a distance if needed. .223 and shotgun with shot would be a relaly close 2nd.

My vote went to "other" as the gun i depend on for 99% of my hunting wasn't listed, and it would be my number one choice!!!
I'd say my full time hunting gun has it "all" covered!

It's called a "drilling", and isee them forsale all the time on gun auction sites. And of course Krieghoff, Blaser, Heym, and others still build them new...
