Thanks for the INfo Double A...338-06 would be it. That Cooper in the photo has somevery nice wood in fact rivalling most rifles that sell for 2 to 3x the price. I would go the fiberglass route though.

Kimbers aren't even in the same ball park, probably not even the same sport.
So true. They pretty much make FN SPR and Cooper knockoffs- not even close to the same quality but at almost the same price.

I have a Cooper question. I was looking at the model 22 Phoenix, I was wondering if they were single shots, or had a blind magazine in them, or...........

The M22 does come in the Phoenix and it's a single shot. It's the .308 group. The Phoenix has a wider stock and is good for benchrest... or so I was told. The M52 has a detachable, single stacked 3 round magazine ( I believe) and the Phoenix stlye synthetic stock called the Jackson Hunter. It's narrower and destined for the woods. It's the .30-06 group.
