7mm or 270 is my vote. They are under represented and I love the ballistics of a good .284" bullet in about 160g. Should be on hellova flat shooter.

The .257 and .270 weatherbys are still lower in velocity than what I'm going to do,have double radius shoulders that I don't like,too much freebore,hopefully not as accurate as my cartridge,if I don't do it-somebody else will,it's totally practical.weatherbys are priority cartridges,and I'm bored. Is that enough reason?

6.5 all the way..imagine the accuracy potential of a 142 matchking for targets and a 140 gr GK for hunting

a gun smith I know here in AZ is already necking the 375 ruger down. Ive seen two rifles of his and sofar he has it necked down to 338 cal and 30 cal.
