Bersa Pistols
#2

I have a bersa thunder 380. I really like the pistol and I have never had any problems with it. I bought mine used from a guy that I have known for at least ten years or so and he said the only reason he was getting rid of the pistol was so he could go and buy the exact one in a newer model. Just my two cents and I don't claim to be a big pistol guy, but I haven't had a problems with the gun and my wife absolutely loves to shoot it.

I have a sweet Firestorm / Bersa "Mini9" 9mm that I am really enjoying.........shoots great, nice and compact.
I have put 350 rounds through it of 115gr WWB and a bunch of +P Corbon 125gr and not a single FTF. It just gobbles up everything and is really accurate with the hot Corbon defense loads.
Seems like a real keeper especially for the price.
I am also going to add a Thunder .380 to the collection shortly.

My dad got a Thunder 380, it seems to be a good gun for the money $225 with the nickle finish. The only thing we don't like is the powder blowback, but my brothers Beretta couger 380 does it too. My Sig 232 380 doesn't.

I have a bersa model 83. it shoots great but has some jamming problems if you don't hold it really tight. Also I have to tighten up the grip after every 100 shots or so. Bersa firearms are basically beretta copies and are usually great guns.

I had one for a couple of years and it was a very good pistol and I never had a problem with it. The only thing that I would say is that you'll kinda have to do some looking for holsters. It seems that the Bersa 380s are a little to big for the PPK holsters and not quite big enough for the next size up (of commonly available) although if you got a place that's easy to order from, you shouldn't have too big of a problem.

I had no problems finding a holster for my thunder .380 and I don't have any issues with power blowback either. If you are interested in getting one, I know that Academy Sporting Goods sells them new for around $190. I don't know how extensive the Academy Sporting Goods chain is and if there is even one around you, but the local one here in the town that I live sells them for $190 new. I also got my holster there for around $20 or so. I just grabbed a bunch of holsters off the rack and took it up to the gun bar and they let me try the gun that is on display in several of the different holsters to see which fit best.
