Taurus tracker is a real nice .22l revolver. And fairly inexpensive.

Don't forget to look at the Beretta Neos U22 6.0. It is one sweeeetttt shooting pistol. It shoots every bit as good as my Ruger heavy barrel targetMk II and way better than my 5.5" barrel S&W 22A. It looks a little awkward but is actualy quite comfortable and feels great in the hand.

I bought my Beretta atGander Mountain $215 out the door.

well i went to the local guns shops, and found the Browning i am stuck on this one. it was light, and the grip felt really nice. But i am going to search around for this one. So far i found the cheapest was $430.

browning buckmark....nuff said

that is a sweet looking buckmark....dont know that youll find it much cheaper though...

i shoot a buckmark standard. i put on a fiberoptic front sight. id like some wood grips...havent gotten around to it...i used to shoot it ATLEAST once a week..sometimes twice a week. i put probably 10k rounds through it no joke. that was in about a year shooting every week. accurate little bugger...smooth shootin and a nice pistol. ive never had a problem with it...even when it was extremely dirty..i dont like shooting lead bullets through it though...you can once in a while run into feeding problems when the ramp gets fouled up or the soft lead catches. CCI mini mags are great in it...a little bit more than the cheap bulk ammo...but shoots well and the extra power helps the blowback action work...but the cheap ammo still shoots good and is...cheap.

good luck..let us know what you pick

Keep shopping. Considering I paid about $280 for my Buckmark standard brand new and the MSRP is like 400 bucks I'm sure there's a cheaper way to get it. Never forget about gunbroker.com either! I haven't personally bought off there but I hear it's a handy site.

I had a 22s ,, same model - just steel as opposed to aluminum . I got the 6.5 or 7" barrel , I can't remember . I regret selling this one . It was accurate enough that I stopped shooting my rife . heavy enough to put ten shots on target as fast as you could pull the trigger . I will buy another one when I have some spare cash , till then my single six will be fine .

I have owned a buckmark and a ruger single six (the one with different cylinders you can shoot 22 mags with). Both were great guns I have no problems suggesting to someone.

I have also owned a 357, 9mm and a 45. I'll be honest I had a lot more fun shooting the rimfires. I don't own a handgun anymore but I have eyeballing one of those Walther P22's.
