Anybody out there have a Sako? If so how do you like it. Some information I have seen on it says it has a detachable clip. I would like to know if it is like a Remington clip or a Browning. I was a clip gun that I can just put it in, not attached to the floor plate. I also don't want a deer sized gun with it, looking for a 22-250 with a detachable clip.

Over the years i've owned 3 sako rifles in 243,270 & 7mm-08 but I havn't owned the latest model the 75.
All of my sako's have been great rifles, well made & accurate.
A friend of mine has a new model 75 sako synthetic in 30-06 & he absolutely loves it,its magazine is completely detatchable not like the browning a-bolt if thats what your asking about.
I would have no hesitation in reccomending sako rifles to anyone, they are very good gear. www.sako.fi Check their web sight out.
Also check out the tikkas, made at the same factory as sako but at a better price..Highly reccomended as well. www.tikka.fi
Hope i've been some help to you & good luck.

I own 2 Sako 75's and I really like them a lot. They are my favorite rifles by far. The detachable magazine is the best I've seen. It's just one of the many features I really like about these guns.
I will say, however, I'm not sure I would want to buy one of the new ones with the bolt lock. So that's something you may want to think about. If that's a concern, you could probably find one without the lock at www.gunsamerica.com or www.auctionarms.com
