Default Which weapon of choice?

Right now, Im debating between a Remington CDL .308 or a Tikka T3 Hunter .308. I have heard good things about both rifles.

What do you guys think?

Whichever one feels the best in your hand. They are both great guns.

I just made this decision and went with the Remington. Both are fine guns but the Remington had a couple of advantages to me. The Tikka uses the same long action for all its offerings, whether you get a 30-06 or a 7-08. It also uses the same detachable box with a spacer in it for the particular round you use. I was also concerned about resale since they are not popular in my area. On the flip side, Tikka has a better trigger out the box but the Remington's is just as good if you adjust it from the factory setting. Tikka also comes with an accuracy "guarantee". Both are good, choose the one that fits you and your needs best.

I have a tikka varmit in 308 that will shoot tiny groups and remingtons (different calibers) that will do the same, also have a tikka in 25/06 that will shoot.
I would get which one you like the best.
Got to shoot a new rem model 7 at the range a couple weeks ago and was surprised how accurate it was with factory cor-locs.It had the new rem trigger and it was easy to adjust also.I think the tikkas have the best factory triggers tho.

Both are very good rifles, so it's a tough choice. I like theway Remingtonshandle in the field, so I would probably end up going with the CDL. It's one of those pieces that has a kind of timeless quality to it.

If I were you, I'd go down to the gun store and inspect both up close. Either will make a great deer/big gamerifle.
