I just recently purchased this rifle in the 17 hmr cal with thumbhole stock. Love this rifle but wanna add a little more of a custom look. I wanna do a muzzle brake and i need to know exactly what the barrel diameter is. By any chance do any of you guys know?

Well i only know of two ways that you could figure that out. You could email Savage and ask them or take the rifle to a gunsmith and have him/her measure it for you.
