I see that Mossberg has a new rifle out that they call the 4x4 bolt action. It looks interesting and for around $300 it is apretty good price. Has anyone tried one - seen any info on it - or have an opinion?

I haven't seen nor have I heard of it. A lot of people bash Mossberg, but all I know is, the first shotgun my dad bought me was aMossberg, and the over and under that I shoot today is a Mossberg. I have never had a problem in years of using them. I doubt I would run out and buy a rifle by them though.

I heard good things about the ATR mossbergs they came out with. Is that what you mean? They tested very accurate, especially for the price.

I inqured about them a few weeks back and it seems like noone has heard much about them. I asked at local stores and gun shops and everyone looks at me wierd. here is the email mossberg sent me when I asked them about them.

The first and only mossberg I had was a early 500 and it blew up. I wont be buying any more Mossbergs, it kind of soured me on them.[:@]
