Default Nylon 66

Remmington Nylon 66, What a wonderful 22cal.rifle. Does any one own one? When did you get yours? Do you enjoy shooting yours as much as I do? This little 22 has got to be one of the most accurate rimfires that I have ever owned. I have taken many rabbits, skunks and squirels with mine and outshot lots of my buddies, Plinking at the range.

I introduced my wife and 2 daughters to shooting with mine. The Apache Black model with the Chrome is beautiful.

When I was a lad my uncle got me a subscription to Outdoor life for Christmas.(my mom saw how I read it cover to cover and continued the subscrip for several years to encourage me reading) I remember seeing adds for the rem. nylon and I wanted one so bad. Just a couple years ago I saw one at a gun auction so I bought it. My son and I have had some fun with it on targets, plinking and grouse. It is not the most acurate .22 I have ever shot but it will do for what we use it for.

Have one that I got in the early 70's. After several hundred thousand rounds I finally had to strip it to the frame and clean it. It has been sitting in solvent for over a year and I can't seem to find the time to get it back together. One of these day's I guess. Great little rifle.
