I have not heard anything but good about them and wish they made a barrel for the Mossberg shotgun. What I don't understand is that Mossberg makes replacement barrels for Remington 870's and 1100 series.

Only negative I heard about the hastings is they say "Do not shoot Copper Solids" thru it. I get my best groups with copper solids. A friend who just picked up that crazy looking barrel with the muzzlebreak told me this and said hastings reported possible warped barrels??

The 12 ga Hastings say to not shoot the copper solids due to the diameter apparently. Causes more heat and warping can occur according to a gunsmith. The 20 ga do not say anything about it. My dad, my uncle and I have owned 12 ga hastings fully rifled barrels since 96. I can't say enough about them. We consistently are shooting sub 3" groups at 100 yards with Federal Classic Sabots. All three shoot the same. My dad had owned a Remington fully rifled before and the Hastings are a big improvement over that particular barrel.

You might want to check Remington's and Hasting's websites, I think they've redone the copper solid so it can be used in the Hastings barrel.
Mine is 1 of the old ones before cantilevers but it will lay 3 regular Brennekes touching at 100 yds. 5 Hornady H2Ks land inside a 3 inch circle at two hundred yds. Of 7 deer, between 100 and 200 yards, farthest any traveled was 30 yds.
Get the barrel.
