I just ordered a Micro Hunter and I am concerned about the size of it. Does anybody have any feedback on this model. I have shouldered an A-bolt Hunter and it seems to fit me nicely. The micro's stock is roughly a quarter inch shorter.

The guyI lease my land with has an abolt 7mag with the boss and the micro hunter in 300wsm (no boss). That micro hunter in the cal kicks like a mule. Way more than my model 70 winchester in the same caliber. That would be my only concern. Its very light with a thinner than normal barrel. The barrel is alsoa few inchs shorter than a full size gun. My friend bought the gun b/c its lighter and easier to carry than his 7mag which has a 26" barrel with that boss on it. He likes it for hunting but its scary at the range!

Oh yea. Meant to also say that my buddy is 5'9" 190lbs and the gun fits him good.

I have a medallion. The micro is too small for me, but I'm 6'4". I think the medallion is short enough, for me anyways.
