Scope for handgun . . .
#1
I recently purchased a T/C Contender. I really do like the gun. Seems to be well made and so far, maintains accuracy very well. (When it's not me!)
The barrel I will hunt with is the 30-30. I'm new to handgunning, and need some help picking a suitable scope/mounting system for the gun. I've done some looking and web research and understand a lot of the features to look for, like eye relief, power, etc. But before laying down a few hundred bucks, would like to see what some of y'all have to say (good or bad) about some of the top handgun scopes out there.

I got a 2-6X32 bushnell elite silver on the 460SW performance center I just got. I picked that scope because a friend has one on his 7mm-08 encore pistol and seemed to work great. Pretty affordable, seems easy to find eye relief location. That or you can't go wrong with a leupold.

I just put a Nikon Monarch on My super Blackhawk 44 Mag. I really like it. Of the scopes I looked at, this one was the easies to find the full site picture quickly. I don't recommend a very high power unless you really like to see all your wiggles. Mine is a 2X
