What do you guys prefer-2 or 4X.
I just got a Ruger SRH in 44mag and am trying to decide what to put on it. It's probably going to be a leupold. I want to try and kill a deer with it this year.

I have a Nikon Monarch 2X on my .22 and an Ultra Dot Red Dot on my SRH .44Mag. Love both of them!

I would go with the 2X.

I'd go with a 1 X 4X or a 4X. The 2X does'nt do much for my old eyes!
