I own a .44 mag Super Redhawk 7-1/2" barrel.
If I were doing it over again, I would purchase a 44. mag Super Blackhawk.
In short, I would go with Single-action instead of Double-action.
I also have a .22 handgun(and a few others!). If you want to do any hunting with a handgun, you need to first purchase a handgun that you can shoot a lot. So get a cheap shooting (cost of ammo) handgun. then practice, practice, practice!! it is a little bit like bow hunting in that you need to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!
