I have got to laugh at this statement at least as far as the moose is concerned. I wouldn't recommend either for brown bear, but many use them effectively, but to say the 7mm Rem mag is less of a moose killer than the 30-06 is absurd.

What Mr. Smith can do with one Mr. Jones can do with the other.

Just flip a coin and buy one. The dead deer, elk, moose, sheep, bear, what ever... will never know the difference

I hunt alberta myself and have taken all of the species that you mentioned with the 7mmremmag.You certainly do not need heavier bullets than are available for the 7mm,for any of these species.
