Charley, I once shot at a 10pt at about 200yds and was low on the shot.The deer ran at the tree I was in, at a full blast chargeand I could'nt find him thru the scope and did'nt have see thru mounts. If I would have been using mySavage 24V, I would have got him with the 20ga barrel and #2 buck. My 24V is .30-30/20ga3".
