Rusty you made a good choice. Most of my M-77's are "All Weathers". I think you'll be more then satisfied with yours. I don't have a AW in 25-06.I have a old M-77V in 25-06 w/ the tang safety. It's unfired NIB so I can't tell you how it shoots. It's a great deer caliber. You might as well plan on having your trigger reworked.Once in awhile a decent trigger slips through. Most have the lawyer's triggers.and need to be lightened.

Rusty you don't even have the rifle yet. Before rushing into a new synthetic stock why don't you give the factory stock a try?All my All Weathers have the original stocks and they all shoot well. That money could be well spent elsewhere.I have no complaint using the Ruger Synthetic stock..It's your money do what you see fit to do.I would just give it a try before rushing out to spend your money. IMHO.

I have to agree with Ruger on that one all I want is for it to shoot accurately and they all do with the stock they came with .

My factory ruger stock works fine .5" MOA. The only thing I did to the stock was put a sims recoil pad on it. That 300 WSM kicks quite a bit in that light gun.
