i picked up a box of 130 gr fusions for $15. I thought it was a pretty good price. now just got to see how it performs.

Josh.........any of those bullets you initially spoke of will do the job you need em to. Pick which one gives you the best accuracy and don't worry. worry more about your bullet placement. here's another idea to stir up your pot. try handloading.....it's fun, not too expensive to get started and the first time you shoot something with a bullet you made you'll be hooked for life - you'll never shoot factory again unless you want to go shooting right now and are too lazy to load up bullets like i do from time to time.

i have thought about reloading. i currently reload shotgun shells for pheasants up here in sd. i have done it for 2 years and i do love it. it is great to take an animal with something you made.and it is also nice to see your friends and family take birds with shells you have made(plus i can make a few bucks lol). i used my shells for one year and a friend asked if he could try one so i let him shoot a clay pigeon. then while pheasant hunting i gave him a few. well last year i reloaded for a few friends and they were very pleased. they got a premium load at acheapie cost. i didnt make much over the cost of supplies but it is rewarding to see people use my own personal shells. guess i must be doing something right (even though every time they miss they blame my shells lol)i will pry invest in reloading supplies for my rifle as soon as i get the funds.

you could even get by the the lee hand loader kit......i think thats what they call it. i think they go for under 20 bucks...that and powder primers and bullets and you got it made....make a few boxes on one of those and than it'll be even more incentive to buy a good setup....besides if total cost for everything is under 50 bucks what have you lost??????

I would try the Federal Premium High Energy round with Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. It pushes 3100 FPS. If you feel the TBBC is to much bullet try Horady Light Mag with 130 Grain Interbond bullets at 3215 FPS.

I agree with Scott - these are two of the best factory loads made from a terminal performance standpoint. See which one your gun shoots the best. The 130 Swift Scirocco and the 140 Nosler Accubond are also great performers.
