RE: gun stock m14 synthetic
McMillan has the best synthetic stocks for M-14/M1-A's. Dont know their URL, but you can find them on a search engine such as http://www.dogpile.com or yahoo.
The SeALs use on their M-21 tactials and newer M-25's McMillan synthetics. I have one on my Super Match myself. Love it!
How do you like your Norinco M1-A? Don't know if it's true or not, but I heard one must be carfull with the Norico's becaus the Chines used some crappy "soft" steel on some of those guns. Hoepfully you have a decent "shooter" and one with out the steel design flaw.
Good luck.

McMillan is the only I would recommend. Like HK45 says, they make the best M14/M1A stock out there.

Not knowing what grade of stock you want I'd go with the McMillian if I wanted a competition stock and the G.I. surplus one from Cheaper Than Dirt for draggin' through the brush. Not that the McM. wouldn't take the abuse though!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
