I'd skip the package deal. Buy the savage rifle by itself then put some decent mounts and a decent scope on it. It's money well spent.

I agree with boltman. Buy the rifle without their scope and then go get yourself a good quality scope. You'll be much happier and you'll have a rifle you can depend on.

i actually just looked at those package deals and tell you what.. i would buy one in a second. not bad for the price. i still own my savage. still shoots great besides the magazine won't come out.

great first gun combo, it wont leave anytihng lacking in the accuracy departement thats for sure
