Default Personal Optics Experience??

I was looking around at the Sportsman Guide site and they have good prices (or what SEEMS to be good prices) on SightX, BEC, and Barska scopes.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these brands?? I'm not expecting that much from them for the price...............but I was just wondering.

Thanks

I do know that Barska makes lenses for simmons, tasco and meade. I hear BEC scopes are pretty decent.

What's the warranty? or are the prices so good it's a throw away if something goes wrong?

It looks like they are throwaways, Rick. Sportsman's Guide gives no warranty info on their pages for the scopes I was looking at.

I can get Millet scopes at Midway USA for a comparable price - just not with as many features. The thing is, a garbage can with LOTS of features - is still a garbage can. [&:]

I've never regretted spending more for quality. Personally, I'd stay away from these off-brand scopes. But then, it's your money.

Mark,
I to have seen them but never tried them, just might be a sleeper.

I do know that with their GUIDE SERIES line they stand behing them 100% no matter what.I bought a pair of boots from them 2-3 years ago after the 2nd year they started to leak so I called them and they said I could get my $ back or replace them.I took the cash and bought another pair of Danners.
