Thank you Chuck,
I hope my knee gets feeling better as well! I have also been checking into that other lake up here that has those large mouths in it. AguyI work with swears he has caught 8 pounders in it. So ifI can get a chanceI will be checking it out. Good Luck and now the fishing will go on...

To be honest Oneshot7 ..I hadn't seen black and green for quite a while. I was thrilled to find that color and with Garlic scent,,,double blessing. i got 4 spots that should of produced..and they did..One hit per spot. I boated a small one..Then I didn't get a hit for about 1 hour...then..tap tap.. I situated myself and noticed the slack in the line. I slowly reeled in th eslack.BAM! Pulled hard / felt me. let go.[:@]

I then had to wait about one more hour..tap tap..line straightened ..I reared back up she comes .A fiesty 2 1/2 to 3 pounder..came off.

All of these fish were caught off of points / drop offs..Then I caught another small one..End of story.
I'll be back..

I still havent gotten to go to the pond witht he biguns in it yet but i want to try out some mag 11 zooms and see how they compare but i sure did love those bass assassins. On a good note i caught 4 small ones but busted a nice 4+ fish off because of old mono (clear pond) on the old zoom fluke and one more on a popper and missed one aon a 6 inch culprit. just gotta go to the big fish pond now and try them out.

Chuck i would use it but the water here is so clear in these ponds and lakes the bite ratio is actually about 10:1 mono overbraid but in the river its a whole new ballgame
