crappies

well me and my dad went out today for some crappies it was very slow at first. when it picked up i was using my fly pole and we has using minnows. i had about 20 on but i only got 4 in [:@], my dad get 5. they were nice about 11-12 in. fish. this is my third time getting them on a fly rod. the first time it was every cast. any way it was a great day on the river today. any of use ever mount them? i kept 2 and he kept 1. could look cool. but we can only get 2 done its up to 15 bucks an in. so i guess will eat one.

got a friend that has a stringer mount of ten 3 pound crappie, it is very cool, but eating them is one of my favorite thing to do..

Why not keep all 9 and eat them all then save the money you didn't spend on mounting the crappie for when you catch a 2+ lber!

Why not check to find a taxidermists that can put that laminated stuff over them and take the fish home for dinner? That way you could have the size of the fish mounted to your wall and the fish to eat.

hey chuck here is kinds what my buddys stringer mount looks like, hesaid it took him five years to put his together[&:], the one below (the fish) were caught in one day
