I've eaten shad roe a couple of times in restaurants...It's excellent, but I'd like to try preparing it myself sometime..Never caught a shad myself...

Definitely shallow bass... Here in the Finger Lakes it's possible to catch bass as deep as 60 feet, but IMHO they fight better, jump more, and are more exciting to catch in 10 feet of water or less...

10 lb burbot because I've never caught or even seen one...They do have them here in Onieda Lake near Syracuse and in the Great Lakes and guys often catch them when fishing in the winter for walleyes...

They are locally called " lawyers" ( no joke) , probably because they are slimey bottom feeders...

Fly fishing for trout... Dry flies or weighted nymphs.....??...

Brown for fight, Rainbows for Quantity and Brookies for the colors.

But if i had too choose one i think i would choose Rainbows but my favorite trout is Bull's.

Have you ever fished the ocean?

I think I'd rather take the prettygirl out to DINNER, and take a buddy fishing... Not that I have anything against fishing with women, it's just that a romantic dinner is much more likely to lead to somesnuggleing and holding hands than a fishing trip...

Yes, I've fished the Ocean some, as far north asAlaska and as far south as southern Florida ( Gulf Side)....

Have you ever caught an eel...??...If so did you EAT it..??..
