Default Stoeger Arms Shotguns

I was wondering if anyone owns or has shot the Stoeger Arms shotguns?
I saw on the web that the semi-autos have benelli components. I also see the prices for these guns are reasonable. Any thoughts??

I couldn't tell you about the semi-autos, but I have two of the SxS's and I love them. They shot well, handle well and the price was right.

I'd save my money for one of the cheaper quality autos like the Beretta that Wallmart currently carries.

The semi-auto model 2000 has gotton many rave reviews so far. They fuction just like most Benelli's. Parts are not interchangable though. They are one of the lighter guns in their class also.

Benelli imports the Model 2000 semi-auto for Stoeger. Benelli designes the guns and Stoeger manufactures them. Simple enough. All Model 2000 semi-auto shotgun warranty and service is handled through Benelli USA. I ordered the semi-auto last year and love it. The only difference in the Model 2000 Stoeger and the Benelli Super 90 is the inertia recoil system is located farther forward in the forearm area of the gun and not the bolt assembly. The speed is the same. The Stoeger shoots 2 3/4" and 3" shells. Comes with 5 factory chokes, choke tube wrench and sling swivel studs.
