I am most certain that you cannot drop in an accutrigger into a 7600. You can take the trigger assy out and send it to Barnes Gunsmithing or have a local gunsmith do the work. I took my awful trigger from 7.5# to 3.2# with little creep.

I've never personally heard of any after market triggers for this one, but someone else may have, you could also have the trigger system hand smoothed, some work done on the parts, and another spring.. would more than likely help, but you wouldn't want to change much, considering it's a hunting rifle...

I replaced the spring with an aftermarket spring off of Ebay, reduced the pull weight from 6 1/2 lb to 4 lb. Much better. Now it feels more like my 870.

Short answer...NO, you can't.

The Accu-Trigger is the proprietary trigger for Savage bolt-action rifles. The only rifle that has, or can have an Accu-Trigger is a Savage, and all Accu-Triggers come installed on the rifle from the factory and are not available as an aftermarket upgrade.

That said, you CAN have the stock trigger worked on by a gunsmith to make it lighter and feel better, but being what it is, it's unlikely that you will be able to get it to feel as light or crisp as you could a bolt-action's trigger. That's just a drawback to pump-action and semi-auto trigger systems. To make them work safely they must be more complicated. More complicated means more weight, creep and overtravel than can safely be had with the simpler bolt action trigger system.
