Default Kimber Pro Covert II?

Considering the Kimber Pro Covert II in a 4" as a conceal carry. Thoughts?

Also interested in hearing from someone that has shot this gun and can compare to other 45s.

Thank you!

I havn't shot this particular model so no help there. I CAN tell you that every Kimber I've ever shot has been A1 however.

Kimber is usually very well balanced and shoot well. I too have not shot this particular model. Have you been properly trained with a SA 1911, and how experienced are you with them? IMO, a SA 1911 for ccis for someone who is very experienced with the firearm and properly trained. If not, a person may want to consider the Springfield XD, Glock or another striker fired handgun. You will still need training with a striker fired handgun for cc, but there is less to be aware of compared to a SA 1911.

I carry the Kimber, CDP in 4". Well balanced, very accurate and dependable.
