I got a new Winchester 1300 for Christmas this last year. What do you big hunters think of them? I have used this gun a couple of times hunting pheasants and crow. I have had good luck with it so far.

I received a 1300 the first year they came out with the rifled slug barrel for christmas. that had to be 15 years ago. although i have about 8 other shotguns it is still the one I use year after year for deer gun season. it has never failed, never rusted and except for a couple of chips in the wood which were my fault it still looks like new. I was so impressed by this gun that when I decided to purchase a auto in 3.5 I bought the super x2.


Good Hunitng

I got one for Christmas (1300 defender) 17 years ago at 11 years old and it has performed flawlessly for me year after year. Never had any problems with it at all.

I have 2 - 1300' s one is about 30 years old 2 3/4(was my dad' s gun) and the other was my first 12 ga 3" about 17 years old. Both have been excellent. They see less action now, since i primary goose hunt, but still make it out for the odd duck or upland hunt. The oldest one is still my favorite, maybe because it is an heir loom or mystique.

I have a 1300 NWTF and killed a few turkeys with it! I think I' ll keep it...

I have shot one for yrs too. Put thousands of rounds through it. Shot Steel, Lead, Slugs 2 3/4 and 3" hardly had any malfunction! Wouldn' t ever get rid of it!
