I received a 1300 the first year they came out with the rifled slug barrel for christmas. that had to be 15 years ago. although i have about 8 other shotguns it is still the one I use year after year for deer gun season. it has never failed, never rusted and except for a couple of chips in the wood which were my fault it still looks like new. I was so impressed by this gun that when I decided to purchase a auto in 3.5 I bought the super x2.
