RE: Winchester 1300
I have a 1300 Win. shotgun with the cantilever rifled barrel and it has worked well. The action is designed to slightly open after shooting to speed in cycling another round. I’ve been using the Rem. copper solid sabots and have worked well for accuracy, but every firearm is different. I haven’t had any problems with mine so far except for once when it was extremely cold and had a bit of a problem cycling in another round. Good luck with yours...

RE: Winchester 1300
I have been using a Winchester 1300 since 1992 for Turkey and deer hunting. That means shooting 3" turkey loads and 2 3/4" deer slugs exclusively. My gun has held up very well, and I prefer it over the Remington 870's.
