I just picked up a CZ 40 B and was wondering if anyone has experience with this firearm. Good bad or ugly. The gun I picked up is almost new with about 50 rounds run threw it. I went out and picked up some Winchester 140 G FMJ. The gun has jamed twice in the first 50 rounds with the Winchester amo. I also picked up some Remington 180 G JHP and have not had a failure with this amo. Do I need to be looking for problems with this gun or just use the amo the gun likes?

I had a old CZ75 and I wish I hadn't got rid oof it. It had the screw on compensator and they were outlawed because you could screw a silencer on it. We had a little problem with it feeding when we first got it and got that fixed and never had a another problem with it.

Thanks for the info Guys !!!
I went and picked up some Blazers in 180 FMJ. Well I have ran about 250 assortedrounds threw the gun with out another failure / Jam. The gun really likes the Rem 180 G HP. Thisis aCZ 40 B, I was told that only 700 of these guns were made. It was a mixed venture with CZ and Colt. Colt bailed on the project. If anyo0ne has any other info, please let me know.
Thanks again !!

I've got the same CZ-40 B . I havn't had any jamming problems since I bought it
new 3 years ago. It's only shot 155 gr. reloads. Did have some trigger work done,
just to make it a little smoother. I love it. I havn't seen any others around and
have wondered why?

Some autoloaders are just picky about their ammo and only feed certain bullet shape, length etc. Some autos will let you pour anything through them. The main thing is that you can find a good ammo or load that you and the gun both like. Unless you end up with a gun that just likes to jam on anything, I think you'll be happy camper.
