Well 1st I'd take a 30-06...but as far as real men go yall's just boys compared to me. I go out there in rain, sleet, snow, anything. Naked. With a knife. Deer take one look at me and die with intimidation. Beat that.
You sure they don't die from laughing at your 06' package?[:'(]

Sorry, had to go there.

I can see now that you people don't know how to shoot. A sure sign of people that had to go to a "special" school. I used to feel sorry for people like yall that lived in neighborhoods that had the SLOW KIDS signs out. but I have since realized those very same kids can lead productive lives when grown and hold down jobs. Don't believe me?I can prove it any time, simply drive thru or past road construction zone and you will see SLOW MEN WORKING signs! I remember shootinga spike buck that was so far away, that by the time thearrow hit him,he was 14 pointer.
TOP THAT!

I've never owned a .270 but my brother blew a deer's head apart with his Though, I do own a 30.06 but still prefer my .300wsm.

Not bad. But I once shot a 14 pointer with a bow that was so fast, when the arrow hit him he was back to being a spike!
