Both are ENTIRELY too common and MUNDANE...I've always preferred something just a LITTLE bit different, and that's the reason I've never had a hunting rifle in either chambering, OR in 7MM Rem mag OR in .308...
30 years ago when I bought my .280 , many guys had never heard of it...
Today, when I speak of my 9.3 x 62, a lot of folks look at me like I'm from Mars... WTF is THAT..??..

Well 1st I'd take a 30-06...but as far as real men go yall's just boys compared to me. I go out there in rain, sleet, snow, anything. Naked. With a knife. Deer take one look at me and die with intimidation. Beat that.
