Bought one for my son in 3006 end of October. Sighted in @ 100 yds shot 3 1-3/4" groups with the rifle. Last weekend on the 18 my son shot a nice nontypical 6 point whitetail with it using 150 gr Federal hishok ammo. It did a real nice job shoots well for the money I topped it with a 2-7 Bushnell scope it is a real nice gun for the money. Now will it hold up for 30 years of pounding I don't know but for a meat gun it's good.

The only negative I had is the extractor broke during our sight in session and needed to be replaced after 30 rounds but the rifle has worked well since. very smooth shooting even as light as it is. My only other big critisizm is the plastic molded in trigger gaurd kinda cheep. The action is smoother on bolt lift than the Savage/Stevens guns which also is a good selling point for kids or smaller shooters. It handles and point really nice.

I got one in 30-06. Accurate and so far reliable. I got one for $240.00 2 year ago. Now they make some 100 with wood stock and I think they would have a little less kick than syntetic stock. I got mine in Gander Mt.

I was contemplating getting one till I decided I had to havea WSM magnum. I honestly think they are just fine for the money. Anything that will give you close to 1" MOA for under three hundred cant be bad. Go for it if you like it! EJ

whats 1" MOA?? considering a minute of Angle is 1 degree of 60 minutes out of a 360 degree radius. 1 MOA = 1.047 inches @ 100 yards. 1" MOA = Nothing.

Well, I wouldnt try to set the new long range shooting record with it, but it'll do just fine for your average joe trying to get an allright hunting rifle. Dont forget, the baby boomers are coming into thier money, us gen X'ers are indulging in poverty. Any of these companies making a hunting rifle that can get us into hunting for an affordable price is a blessing. We will learn to be more discerning when we can afford to. EJ
